Our best music was never recorded."   John Lennon, Rolling Stone Magazine 1971                                                              Debuting in February, 2012 there will be a radio show comprised only if recorded live music videos.  The show will air daily on www.waymorefm.com.  We are recruiting bands & musicians who have the confidence to play & be recorded live to fill the playlist.

How it works:  bands will play 30 minute sets at Kruzzers Roadhouse.  They will be professsionally recorded filmed & edited.  The bands will choose their best song from the set & it will be played in regular rotation on the Gulf Coast Live Video Radio Show.

So that the station can have the many songs needed we have made arrangements with a professional video company, Quannah Productions to produce the videos at an incredible low price of $595.00.  Plus, bands will receive 30 DVD's & 30 MP3 CDs for resale at a recommanded price of $20.00 that when sold will completely pay for the video production.  The bands than can buy additional DVD's & CDs for only $6.00 that can be sold at shows, online & in other ways.

What is this about?  The Gulf Coast Gumbo Live Radio/Video Show is about what music should be at the end of the day.  What artists can plug in & step up to the mike & play the best.  With live music being both heard & scene, a live, professionally filmed & recorded, unmixed music video is the only way to explore the true talent.  Then by using these videos in a radio/traditional DJ, MTV format the very best music gets its rightful due.

Who is doing this?  The Gulf Coast Gumbo Live Radio/Video Show is a joint venture betweeen the North of the Border Entertainment, Quanah Productions, Kruzzers Roadhouse, & WaymoreFM.com.

What is North of the Border Entertainment Guide?  North of the Border is a monthly magazine with a strong emphasis on live music with distribution in North Harris & Montgomery Counties, Texas.  North of the Border is in it's 22nd year of continuous publication.  It can be read its entirety in its flip/page edition at nobtexas.tv.

Who is Quanah Productions?  Quanah Productions is a State -of-the-Art video production studio that has been located in Conroe, Texas for 20 years.  Owner Gary Parker has a long resume of professional video work including filming & editing feature films.  He has also owned his own record label.

Where is Kruzzer's Roadhouse & why was it chosen? Kruzzer's Roadhouse is located on FM 1774 just 3 1/2 miles North of Magnolia (Houston Area), Texas across from the Texas Renaissance Festival grounds. Kruzzer's has two complete stage areas & is located on several acres that include overnight RV & camping facilities. Kruzzer's also has a kitchen for food service.

What is WaymoreFM.com?  WaymoreFM is an online radio/video station with a permanent studio & office on the square in downtown Conroe, Texas.  The way more is do to the muli-media programming that includes in-studio cameras during the shows & video as well as audio features.  Think TV & radio combined.  The station features both live & archived shows.

Can the artists submit there own live music video?  No.  The point of the show is to have everyone recorded with identical sound quality without extra mixing, do-over's etc.. Also, we need each song to be announced by the shows host for show formatting purposes.

What benefits do artists get from this?  Many: You receive product that literally pays for the video.  ( Get 30 of your best followers to come to your recording at Kruzzer's.  Crowd shots as well be featured in the videos & a lively crowd of course, will make a live video better.  Sell them the video/Cd package, autographed & something they are part of for $20.00.
